15 Halloween Movies for the Chicken

If you are anything like me, Halloween is a time where you are always on edge and fear rules your life.

You are scared of almost everything, so Halloween just isn’t for you. We are known as the “chickens”.

However, if you still want to celebrate the Halloween festivities, here are 15 movies designed just for

us.

 

1. Halloweentown (1998)

Marnie Piper must save Halloweentown as well as her mom and grandmother after learning she is a

witch.

 

2. Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge (2001)

This time Marnie must save the human world when Kalabar wants to turn all people in costume into a

real version of what they are wearing.

 

3. Halloweentown High (2004)

Marnie must save her fellow university students from the wrath of the legendary Knights of the Iron

Dagger.

 

4. Return to Halloweentown (2006)

In the last movie of the series, Marnie has to once again save Halloweentown with her witch powers.

 

5. Twitches (2005)

Tia and Tamara Mowry star as twins with magical powers from the land of Coventry. They must learn

to work together and use their magical powers to defeat the darkness.

 

6. Twitches Too (2007)

Watch as the twitches must save Coventry once again.

 

7. Casper (1995)

This is the classic tale of Casper the Friendly Ghost. When a ghost therapist enters the house with his

daughter, will he finally be able to make a friend, or will things go horribly wrong?

 

8. Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Where do monsters go for a vacation? Hotel Transylvania ­ run by none other than Dracula. But what

happens when a human accidentally crashes the hotel and falls in love with a monster?

 

9. Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015)

Dracula is back! He is worried that Dennis, his half­human grandson, won’t grow his vampire fangs

and continue the family line. Join in all the adventures and crazy schemes Dracula goes through to

 

make Dennis a vampire.

 

10. Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

 

Follow pumpkin king, Jack Skellington, as he stumbles into Christmastown and tries to become king

there, as well.

 

11. Hocus Pocus (1993)

What happens when you accidentally release three evil witches? You must take their spell book and

stop them from becoming immortal, otherwise everyone is doomed.

 

12. The Addams Family (1991)

 

Join Morticia and Gomez Addams and their children, Wednesday and Pugsley, as they try to protect

their house and fortune from those who are trying to take it.

 

13. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

This is a Charlie Brown Classic. If you love Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, you need to check

this out.

 

14. Monster House (2006)

In this animated movie, nobody believes three kids when they claim that the spooky house down the

street is alive, a monster, and wanting revenge. Will the kids be able to stop the house from harming

everyone?

 

15. My Babysitter’s a Vampire (2010)

This movie stars Vanessa Morgan. What happens when your babysitter is a blood­sucking creature of

the night? Well, you will have to watch to find out.

 

This Halloween, all the “chickens” can stay at home and enjoy some awesome, non­frightening movies!
