Saddle Up, Fall Fashion is Back and Bolder Than Ever

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWG chapter.

Although officially saying bye to warm weather is something I find a little bittersweet, one thing I know I can count on cheering me up is my love for Fall Fashion. A new season to shop for, bring on the layers, boots and scarfs! With this cold weather sneaking up on us in full force, it couldn’t be a better time to highlight some of the 2017 fall fashion trends.

1. Western Front

After attending a fashion show for Opening Ceremony last summer, I became obsessed with the Western Front theme that hit the runway. A modern take on the “wild wild west” incorporating cowhide prints, boots and kitschy cacti. I wasn’t surprised when it was another huge trend in New York Fashion Week seen from popular designers Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. This season, accessorize with leather vests, western hats and a studded belts.

2. Red

This fall we can all channel our inner Taylor Swift with some tones of red. I’m not just talking about breaking out the red lipstick but red bombers, jumpers you name it. This fall it’s all about rocking the Americana vibes and power red is the color to do it.

3. Colorful Fur

Fur has remained a popular fall transitional piece, however this fall season adds a little twist to our beloved fur. The brighter the better! This season, colorful and patterned faux fur is a must have. Spice up your fall wardrobe with some fun fur in a vest, purse or even some unique earrings.

I hope you’ll rock these trends this Fall. Stay stylish!
