Skin and body care are an essential part of a skin care routine. The best kinds of products are facial/body scrubs. A scrub is a smooth creamy product that includes little exfloliating pieces. These little pieces help lift the dry and dead skin cells from your skin when you massage the cream in. Here are some DIY facial and body scrubs where you know your own ingredients and affordable as well!

Chamomile Salt Scrub

2 cups Epsom Salt

1 cup Coarse Sea Salt

2 TBSP Sweet Almond Oil

1/2 cup Oil (I used coconut but you can use coconut, olive or peanut.)

15 drops Chamomile Blended Essential Oil

Directions: In a small container, add the Epsom salt and the Coarse Salt. Stir while adding the chosen oil. When it is fully mixed in, add the sweet almond oil and the Chamomile Essential Oil. Mix it all together until blended.

Use: Leave on for 10-15 min then rinse.

Apricot Sugar Scrub

4 ounces Apricot Oil

1 cup granulated sugar

Directions: Mix your apricot oil with your granulated sugar together until it is well blended.

Use: Leave on for about 20-30 min then rinse.

Strawberry Face Scrub

Mashed Fresh Strawberries

¼ cup of sugar

1 tbsp of coconut oil

Directions: In a small container, take a few fresh strawberries and mash them. The back of a spoon is the easiest way. Then add the coconut oil and mash it in with the strawberries. Lastly, add the sugar and allow it to soak up the oil and juice from the strawberries.

Use: Leave on for 10-15 then rinse.

Oatmeal Honey Scrub

Blended up honey

Oats

Coconut oil

Directions: In a small container, add the honey and the oats, when the oats are completely mixed, add a little bit of coconut oil until the scrub is your desired consistency.

Use: Leave in for about 15-20 min then rinse.

Aloe Green Tea Face Scrub

1/3 C. Coconut Oil

1/4 C. Sugar

1 Tbs. Aloe Vera Gelly

2 Green Tea Bags

Directions: In a small container, add the coconut oil and aloe vera gelly. Then, slowly add the sugar while you mix. Lastly, add the dry tea from the bags.

Use: Leave on for 10-15 min then rinse.
