5 Ways to Celebrate Your College Graduation

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWG chapter.

The countdown to graduation begins! With the graduation season quickly approaching, you may be wondering how to celebrate this big day. Well, don’t worry! Read on for ways to celebrate college graduation!

1. Have a Party: this is the more traditional route, but if it floats your boat, then why not? Just make sure to get the invites out ASAP!

2. Go to a restaurant with the fam: this is a great way to spend your actual graduation day since some of your family members will already be present at your graduation ceremony. Just make sure you choose a restaurant that you know a lot of other grads won’t be celebrating at, or else you’ll be in for a (long) wait.

3. Getaway: this is for all my Spring Break Staycation-ers out there: if you didn’t go anywhere for Spring Break, now’s your chance to take advantage of that last break before moving on into the real world.

4. Amusement Park: this is a great way to celebrate your graduation with friends, and in a subtle way. Just round up some pals into a car, drive to an amusement park, and have a fun day!

5. Have a mini party: if you’re not into the big extravagant graduation parties, but you would like to have a party, then this is for you: just grab a few pizzas, wings and drinks – or have a potluck – invite a few of your closest family and friends, and have a chill evening of celebration.
