After what seemed to be a never ending summer, it is finally time to hang up those beloved pair of shorts and sleeveless tops. This fall promises to bring out all the stops with fresh ideas that are a great addition to any closet. I have gathered up the latest fall trends so that you can rep the runway in real life.

1. Cardigans

Cardigans are everyone’s go-to during the fall since they literally match with anything. Grandma wool cardigans or slouchy knit cardigans are perfect for when you don’t want a heavy jacket to ruin your look. The best thing about cardigans is that you can wear them off the shoulder or wrapped around the waist, and you’ll never go wrong.

2. Mules

Some people believe that the trend of these shoes should have ended a long time ago, but they had other plans. Mules received their first trend-status around this time last year, and they are back and better than ever. The closed toe variation of these shoes allows you to keep your look weather appropriate during those cold fall days.

3. Animal print

Animal print is without a doubt a fashion staple for any woman but get ready to see this trend completely take over this fall. A fashion fun fact about animal print is that it can take the place of any neutral color so that you can build your look around it. From leopard to snakeskin to zebra, there are a number of ways to take your outfit to the wild side.

4. Rainbow plaid

While plaid is not new to the fashion spotlight, rainbow plaids are having their time to shine. Rainbow plaids are able to be worn as a matching set just like fashion icon, Cher Horowitz from Clueless. If you’re not ready to fully commit to rainbow plaid, you can play it safe by wearing plaid block heels or a dress.

5. Corduroy

Corduroy was in its prime as a fashion staple in the ‘80s and ‘90s, but corduroy lost its way because people stopped wearing it. Well, that phase is behind us now because designers are determined to bring this fabric back just like they did with velvet. Clearly, corduroy is here to give consumers a run for their money.

6. Embellished jeans

Embellished jeans are breaking all the rules this season by simply existing in the fashion world.  With denim being a daily uniform, embellishments add some personality to any pair of jeans.

7. Big logo tees

Big logo tees are making it fashionable to wear graphic tees. Sport your favorite brands while adding a retro look to every outfit. What’s the best part? All big logo tees are easy to pull off.

Brb, going to go buy one of each
