Fun fact, more slaves were sent to Latin America than the United States therefore Latin America has a big population of Afro-Latinx’s.

This history of the slave trade in Latin America is at most times looked over when learning world history

Afro-Latinx is a race of people in Latin America that are descendants of the slaves that were forcefully taken from Africa to Latin America to work in the sugar plantations, mined for gold, and build towns.

Now a days Afro-Latinx can also mean having a parent of Latin heritage and a parent from African heritage.
