*None of this was sponsored. I just received these items in a gift bag and would like to tell you about the ones I really enjoy.*

If you read my article about the women’s summit, I did say that I’d be back to write about the awesome stuff I received in my gift bag. My two best friends and I got huge gift bags full of sample and full-sized items from popular brands that sponsored the event, so I’m here to give a review of what goodies I got. The ones that are not pictured I knew I wouldn’t use and gave to other people. The Lily Lashes stuff I was unfortunately jipped on because they never put it in my bag. I didn’t notice until I was already on the way home. It’s cool, though. I’m terrible with fake lashes anyway.

Here’s the full list:

Facetory mask pack

Sample size Purlisse Blue Lotus Moisturizer with SPF 30

Sample size Tatcha Water Cream

Tatcha Sheet Mask

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow in Fluffy

Korres Body Butter Cream

Sugar Bear Hair Supplements

Happiness Planner

Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (Not Pictured)

ZeroUV Sunglasses (Not Pictured)

Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow in (Not Pictured)

Lilly Lashes with Tweezers and Scissors (Not Pictured)

So the first item I’ll talk about will be the Facetory Mask Pack. I am a sucker for sheetmasks and Asian skincare, so this was right up my alley. Facetory is a sheet mask subscription site that sends you three or more sheet masks to you based on your skin needs. I did end up using two of them out of excitement before I wrote this, so sorry about that. They did give me a fun piggy one and a bunny vegetable based one that were both super cute and super hydrating. What I have left is one by Eco Beyond and it’s the Intensive Ampoule Ceramide mask. For those who don’t know, ceramides are lipid molecules that are used in skincare to increase hydration and form a hydrating barrier on your skin. So basically it’s a hydration super power. The other Tatcha mask is a Luminous Dewy Skin mask that didn’t actually come in the pack, but I thought it was appropriate to include.

Since we’re on the topic of skincare, the next one I’ll talk about is the Purlisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30. Honestly, I love this stuff. I’ve been on the hunt for a good moisturizer with SPF, and I love this. It feels hydrating like a lotion but isn’t greasy and sits well under my makeup. Plus the added SPF doesn’t have any flashback, which is great. It has a gentle scent, but I think it smells quite nice and isn’t overpowering in anyway. Doesn’t cause any irritation either. Two thumbs up!

Next, I got a sample size of the Tatcha Water Cream. I kind of hate that I have this because I really like it, but it’s $65 for a full size which I can’t afford unfortunately. But if you can, I’d say go for it. It’s very hydrating and dewy and the scent isn’t irritating just like the Purlisse one. I put it on after any serums or toner that I use and before my sleeping pack. (If you don’t know what that is, you should really look it up. Or I can just do another skincare article ;))

So the last skincare item I have is the Korres Body Butter in Water Lily Blossom. This stuff smells amazing. I love floral scents and it isn’t too overpowering. Sometimes I wear this and skip perfume because on it’s own the scent lasts for a while. Plus it leaves my skin really hydrated and smooth. So glad it’s a full size.

Moving on to makeup, I got a little Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in the shade Fluffy. As someone with brownish-oliveish skin, I tend to stick to browny, bronzy tones and this is perfect for when I want a pop of shimmer. Over primer, it doesn’t crease and goes on really smooth and pigmented. My new fave eyeshadow honestly. Also, if I want it again it won’t break my bank since Colourpop stuff is amazingly cheap and good quality.

This was probably my favorite thing in this goodie bag. For the last makeup item, I got a full size of the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara that I have been dying to try but too cheap to get. This mascara is so so awesome. I have really sparse, thin, and short eyelashes. The cons of Asian eyelashes. It’s hard to find a good mascara for me that holds the curl, lengthens, and volumizes at the same time. This does the job right. My eyelashes always look really full and long and don’t really sink too much by the end of the day. Love this stuff.

Alright. No we’re winding down towards the last two miscellaneous items. First one I want to talk about is the Sugar Bear Hair supplements. These things are on every influencers Instagram and always show up on my Facebook. I’m glad I was finally able to try these and see if they actually worked. Surprisingly, after taking two a day (the recommended dose), my hair did seem thicker and heavier. Also, these things were really tasty. If you try these and want results, it’s definitely gradual and takes time. Taking two a day did speed up the process a bit, but I wouldn’t do more than two. Unfortunately, I just cut my hair and love the way it is right now, so I won’t be taking these for a while. But they are really tasty, so I might sneak one. They’re good for your nails too, so that’s an added plus.

And finally, we have the Happiness Planner. I thought that this was an agenda before I opened it. It’s actually a 100 Day Happiness exercise planner that gives you a different exercise pertaining to increasing your happiness levels everyday. The activities are really nice to do before going to bed because it gives me the time to focus on myself and what makes me happy. It also gives me the chance to evaluate my day and how I can make the next day even better. Definitely a great thing to have if you find your life very stressful and feel the need for something to find some reprieve from that.

That’s it! Hope I didn’t bore you through this long one. I also hope that maybe you’d be interested in trying one of these. All of these products were great to use, so I hope if you try them out, they work for you.
