UW – Stout Fashion Without Fabric

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Stout chapter.

UW – Stout’s most popular event took place on Saturday, April 12 in the Great Hall in the MSC. If you don’t know what I’m talking about yet, you’re going to want to. Fashion Without Fabric has become the Art & Design Departments greatest success. Students in the 3-D Design course at Stout put on the show every year during Family Weekend so students can show their friends and family the hard work they’ve been putting in to create these incredible designs.

This year’s theme was “All Things Big & Small” and it was clear that each of the designers did a fantastic job fitting the theme. But not only were the designs showcased in a runway-style event, they were judged as well. The judges, Jackie Weissenberger, Dr. James Bryan, Molly Uravitch and Micah Maraia, had a difficult task to judge over 85 different groups and outfits. Check out the winners! Thanks to Alex Gellar for the fantastic photos!
