UW – Stout Bucket List

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Stout chapter.

When you spend 4+ years at a school where the nearest large town is 30 minutes away, you learn to make your own fun. So Her Campus UW Stout presents to you: your University of Wisconsin – Stout Bucket List.

1. Go to the Devil’s Punch Bowl; in summer and winter.

2. Keep a brick from falling off the clock tower.

3. Have Jeff’s pizza.

4. Go to at least one sporting event.

5. Celebrate an Advisement Day Eve the right way.

6. Come up with a smart-ass response to “when in doubt go to Stout.”

7. Go to The Bottoms.

8. Jump off the bridge at The Bottoms.

9. Get a free truffle at Legacy Chocolates on your birthday.

10. Party at a frat.

11. Get a muffin from the Muffin Lady.

12. Raft down the Red Cedar river.

13. Join an intramural sports team.

14. Eat on the outside deck in the fall at Waterfront Grill.

15. Visit some of the best party houses on campus.

16. Take advantage of any snow days or cancelled classes because it doesn’t. happen…ever.

17. Perfect saying the name of your major in one breath.

18.  Join a club or organization.

19. Take a picture with Blaze.

20. Have a little fun with the overly ambitious protesters every fall and spring.

21. Buy a t-shirt for every Homecoming, Advisement Day, or general Monday that someone sells.

22. Take advantage of the first really nice day in spring. I don’t wanna say skip class so…

23. Convince your professor to hold class outside!

24. Play volleyball on South Campus.

25. Cram 50 people in your dorm room when it’s too cold to go out.

* For every thing you’ve done so far, count 1 point. Then go to this poll and let us know how many you’ve done so far!
