The countdown has begun for every college student: the countdown to spring break 2016!! Wherever you are headed this year, there are some crucial items you must make sure you pack along.
Camera
To most, this simply means having your phone fully charged. Either way, be sure you have means to capture your wonderful vacation so you have something to look back on. Look into purchasing an attachable lens, which can give you even clearer, artistic photos.
Passport
Many students head out of the country for their breaks, even if only to Mexico. Be sure you pack along your passport in order to avoid a lot of regret at the airport. This may be the most crucial item you bring.
Sunscreen
Even if you have been tanning for a month in preparation, the southern sun is still a scorcher. One bad burn and your entire trip could be a lot less about beaches and instead consist of cool baths and aloe rubs.

Nothing can ruin a trip faster than a phone dropped on a sidewalk or submerged in water, so spend a little money in order to avoid any issues. Life-proof cases are a great option for protection and to take underwater Instagram pictures.

Vacation is a time for adventure and discovery so be sure your feet are prepared. Have a well-constructed pair of shoes that make walking five or so miles feel like a dream. It’s smart to bring some mole skin as an extra protective layer against blisters.

Once a thing of the past, a sun hat is now one of the most needed articles of clothing when hitting the beach or poolside. Not only do they protect your face from harmful rays, but they also add style to your beach attire.
Bonine
For those with any type of motion sickness, make sure you pack with some Bonine or Dramamine. Both of these over-the-counter drugstore medicines will save you from being embarrassingly sick on either the plane or on the water.
Spring Break comes only once a year so make sure you are prepared for the time of your life!
