I discovered Lucifer a few months ago, but I never had much interest in watching it. After Netflix recommending it repeatedly, I caved. It was a great choice and now I’m hooked! This show has become one of my top favorites and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself while waiting for season 4.

The Diversity Of The Show

It’s a very forward moving show with having a very diverse cast. There is a mix of all genders, sexual orientations, race, and religion in this show. This makes the show more dynamic and interesting by getting multiple points of views and pasts from the characters.

The Women In Lucifer Amazing

Each woman in the show is a badass character in their own way and all are independent and strong women. Maze, Lucifer’s right-hand woman, will take down anyone in her way and even takes up bounty hunting for the local LA department. Chloe is the main detective and solves every case with her intuition and gut and proves to everyone that she is a great detective. Linda offers to give the king of hell himself her counseling services and she was charmed by his good looks and personality at first, but then challenges his problems and actually makes Lucifer figure out his issues.

King of Hell Is Funny

Lucifer makes jokes and pun worthy remarks almost every episode. Most of the statements are directed at himself. His humor lightens the mood since there are serious moments in the show. My favorite pun he made was when Lucifer and Chloe were at a crime scene and a phone was going off in the dead guy’s breast pocket. Chloe reached for the phone and Lucifer yelled, “Wait! It could be a boobytrap!” It was a great line because of how simple and effective it was in the scene.

Lucifer Is Very Charming

Lucifer is known for his ability to draw temptation since the dawn of time as some would say. It’s only fitting that Lucifer can attract almost anyone he comes in contact with and finds out what someone’s deepest desires are. His ability to have someone tell him their deepest desire helps solve the cases him and Chole embark on.

Lucifer Seeks Therapy

Even the King of Hell can’t escape his extensional crisis. In the first episode, Lucifer meets with a therapist to help with a case, where the therapist points out something going on with Lucifer. This interests him and he seeks help from Dr. Linda Martin. Throughout the seasons, he continues to see Linda where she gives him some helpful advice and gives him guidance in his really complicated celestial life.

I’m so freaking happy Netflix took up this awesome show. I’ve grown to love every single character and maybe with more freedom that Netflix brings, the creators can go into even more depth on the life of Lucifer.
