A lipstick with great staying power is hard to find. Luckily, as a makeup junkie, I’ve tested dozens of brands and types. Here are five of my favorite lipsticks that will actually last all day:

BUXOM Cosmetics Va-Va-Plump™ Shiny Liquid Lipstick

When you think of a lipstick with great staying power, a matte lipstick would probably be the first thing to pop into your mind. If you’ve been looking for a lipstick with a shiny finish, BUXOM Cosmetics is where it’s at. This stuff will stay on from the second you put it on in the morning, to when you take it off at night.

NYX Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie

Not only does this lipstick have great staying power, but it comes in 24 different shades of nudes. No matter if you’re looking for a pink, purple, brown, red or almost any other undertone, NYX is sure to have it.

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick

The staying power on this stuff is no joke. If you’ve got a date night with your man or your BFFs, I would highly recommend this lipstick. It will stay on through virtually any meal.

Ciaté London Liquid Velvet™ Matte Lip Slick

This lipstick is the perfect bold pop of color you’ve been looking for. I’ve been dancing for 18 years and this is one of my favorite lipsticks to perform in. It doesn’t budge through quick changes, sweat or hours of wear.

theBalm MEET MATT(E) HUGHES®

Not only is theBalm known for its cute vintage packaging, but it also makes some awesome lipsticks. Not only do these have great staying power, but they smell great too.

With great makeup looks comes great responsibility. When you finish your look with a great lipstick, you’ll be free from worry and transfer all day.
