The first reaction I get when I tell people I live with seven other women is usually, “I’m sorry for you.” It’s always funny to me because I’m not sorry at all and I actually feel like the luckiest person to have such a fun and supportive atmosphere under one roof.

Every day is a surprise and I always look forward to coming home to recap everyone’s day. Being surround by women who I love is the most rewarding experience especially at this age. No one knows what’s going on during college (big facts) and having seven women as a support system to ride the struggle bus of relationships, school, jobs, and life have made my college experience better than I could have ever imagined.

My roommates and I often ask ourselves how we got so lucky to have each other through the wildness of college. We are always ourselves, we accept each other’s flaws and love each other for them. Knowing each other’s boundaries and when to say you’re sorry goes a long way. All of us know to love each other hard now because we can’t live together forever… but we’ll different find a was to try.
