How Wisconites feel about Wisconsin Weather

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Lax chapter.

One thing that Wisconsinites can always agree on is how crazy the weather can be. We are not lying when we say that in Wisconsin you can experience all four seasons in one day. Although the winters can be pretty brutal and never-ending, it is all worth it for the beautiful summer months. The only thing I can complain about during summers in Wisconsin is that I wsh they were longer! Here ar all the thoughts we have during each season in Wisconsin (that sometimes happen all in one day).

Spring: A time of rain, slush, and patiently waiting for summer.

Just when the weather starts hitting the 70’s, Wisconsin always hits you again with snow storm. You can never get your hopes up during the spring in Wisconsin, because just when you think the weather is starting to warm up, it gets cold all over again.

When the first 75-80 degree day hits and you know winter is long gone and summer is coming. It’s always the best day of the year!

Summer: Endless, care-free, school-free days.

Fall: As much as we love summer, there’s nothing like the start of the fall season.  But fall also means the start of a new college semester, which means no more stress-free, days spent doing what ever you wanted.

Winter: Just when you think it can’t get any colder or snow anymore, that’s exactly what it does and all you want to do is lay on the couch under a blanket all day. It’s funny how a couple of inches of snow to people in Wisconsin is considered a blizzard to people in other states.
