What campus and/or community activities are you involved with?

I am involved in Model United Nations.

Can you explain what Model United Nations is?

Model United Nations is an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with a country and learn about their foreign policy stances and portraying that in a mock United Nations setting.

What is your favorite thing about La Crosse?

It’s very active for a city this size, as far as night life and all of the things you can do.

Biggest pet peeve: I have so many! People who don’t signal and poor tippers. Those are my two biggest ones.

Who’s your biggest role model and inspiration and why?

Joseph Campbell. His field of study was mythology and religion and he had this way of conveying large scale ideas to other people. Understanding different religion and ideology makes someone more understanding and emphathetic of other societies. In a culture as ethnocentric as the US that level of understanding is lost on us.

Describe an ideal date: I’m kind of old school. I like just the standard having dinner at a fairly nice restaurant that’s not Taco Bell. Just dinner and good conversation. I don’t believe that you should have to fill up time with extraneous activities.

Describe yourself in three words: Honest, easy-going, and kind.

Favorite food: All forms of seafood.

What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?

Really mellow, chill stuff. I really like Albert King, Pops Staples, and Amy Winehouse.

Favorite song to dance to at a party: Africa by Toto.

Where are you most likely to be found on a Friday night?

Probably in reading a book.

What are the qualities you find most attractive in a girl?

Somebody who is cultured but not pretentious, I really look for someone who is smart or has issues she cares about, and somebody who doesn’t necessarily have direction but is ambitious, and independent.

What is the first thing you notice about a girl?

If she has dark hair. I’m a sucker for dark hair.

What’s your go to pick up line?

I have none. This questions assumes I have way more game than I do.

What is your dream job?

I don’t know specifically what I want to do but I would prefer something that’s one on one and that betters the community, no matter what shape of form that takes.

How does it feel to be featured as a campus cutie?

It’s awesome!
