6 Things To Do When You’re In Need of a Fresh Start

Paint Your Nails: This first tip seems really simple (because it is!), but it can really make you feel so much better. Whether you paint your own nails or have a spa day with friends, it’s an easy way to de-stress and look great! Matching your nail color to seasonal colors or a favorite wardrobe color can also brighten your day and give you a sense of having “something new” in your life!

Get a Hair Cut: I recently got 8.5 inches taken off, and it’s honestly the most satisfying. If you change your hairstyle, you not only look like a new person, but you have a new sense of confidence! It can be fun to experiment with new ways to style your hair.

Have A G.N.O.: When I’m in need of a pick me up or am ready for a new chapter of my life, nothing is more fun than a Girls Night Out with your pose! Celebrating with the people you’re closest to is a great way to get excited about the new opportunities ahead.

Binge Watch On Netflix: Starting a new TV show is super exciting, and it’s even more relaxing to come home after a long day and watch some Netflix for hours. Grab your roomie and start a new show or re-run your favorite Friends Episodes! Getting through a season of my favorite series’ makes me de-stress and feel ready for any struggles that the next day brings!

Donate Some Clothes/Go Shopping: Nothing says fresh start like a new wardrobe, but before you bring a new clothing item into your life, sift through your closet and see what clothes you really don’t wear! Donating the clothes that you don’t use gives another person a chance to breathe life back into them, perfect for fresh starts!

Take a Walk: When the weather is beautiful and the sun is shining, taking a walk, either by yourself or with friends, can be perfect to clear your head and prepare you for something new in your life. The same can be said about going on a run! Being outside and taking time for yourself can really prepare you for new undertakings.
