What Would Thomas Jefferson Do?

Dear TJ,

Why is the “Fall” weather in Charlottesville so irregular? One second it is cold and the next I am contemplating moving to an Alaskan community college to alleviate some of the heat.

Sincerely,

I’m not the weather woman

Dear I’m not the weather woman,

I send grievances your way because I am sure we all can relate to this conundrum of yours. As far as I am concerned Alaska succeeded to the Union in 1867 so do not relocate; the middle of nowhere does not assist in the creative development of one’s mind.

I have found in my spare time that there is this wonderful little app called Weather Bug that magically guesses (with generally commendable accuracy) how the weather is going to behave.  Tis a delightful little thing.

So, before you decide to trundle out of your apartment wearing nothing but your shift and petticoat in 45 degrees, check this said weather bug.  As I have said before “nothing gives one person so much advantage over another as to remain always cool and unruffled under all circumstances.” Do not let the weather infringe upon your appearances nor your natural amiability.
