With the all the dark colors and layers, sometimes winter and fall clothes can get a little boring. Why not try one of these shades to spice up your look!

1. Metallic and Iridescent
Gold, silver, or any color with an iridescent sheen is very in for fall. The great thing about metallics like gold and silver, is that they will compliment every outfit- besides sequin clothes, that might be a bit much.
Try Chanel Graphite, 25$, or
Opi Your Royal Shine-ness, 9$ for great silver shades and for shiny golds
Dior Vernis in Timeless Gold, 21$, or,
Sonia Kashuk Nail Polish from the Reach for the Stars Nail Trio, 9.99$ for the set at Target.
Or, if you want a darker more neutral color, try
TopshopNail Polish in Iridescent Gray, $10

2. Grey, taupe, neutral
Great polishes to wear with bright separates and color blocked clothing! The nails remain polished without being bare. Try these polishes for great neutrals:
Rimmel London Nail Polish in Steel Grey, 3.99$, available at CVS,
China Glaze in Recycle, 2.45$, available on Amazon and
Deborah Lippmann in Waking Up In Vegas, 16$.

3. Blues
Midnight, navy
Frosty light blue
Wearing blue on your nails is a great way to remain season appropriate and add a little subtle color to your outfits. Almost every range of blue is in this season from navy to denim to light blue.
Try Dior Vernis in Tuxedo, 22$, or
NARSVintage Nail Polish in Full Metal Jacket, $16

4. Greens
Light Green, Peridot
Add a little green in your nails to compensate for the lack of green outside! Chanel Nail Polish in Peridot, 25$, available at Nordstroms, has been overwhelming popular this season, and its subtle metallic quality keeps it from looking like a spring color.

5. Purple
Mauve, eggplant, and berry
Along with the rest of the cool colors, purple is also making a splash on the nail trends. From bright lavender to muted mauve, almost every shade of purple is in for fall. Try
EssieNail Polish in Smoking Hot, $8,
Sally HansenNail Polish in Feeling Saucy, $7, or
NarsNail Polish in Pokerface, $16

6. Classic red
Classic red is still as classic as ever and festive for the holiday season.
Try Sephoraby OPI Nail Polish in What’s Your Point-settia, $9, or
Butter London3 Free Nail Polish in Knees Up, $14

7. Fun Nails! Have fun with stickers, glitter, or psychedelic magnet nail polish to add some fun to your look.
Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips, 9$
These stickers are surprisingly durable and come in an array of fun prints!

LCN Magnent Nail Polish, 9.90$
Because the polish contains iron powder, the magnet swirls the polish to create a subtle design.
