- The Lawn…DUH!
Surrounded by lawn rooms and trees, the lawn offers a peaceful environment to study and/or start building your base tan for Summer 2022. Tens of students will undoubtedly join you in your visit, writing their own UVA story and enjoying their days. The sun is able to touch every piece of the lawn, making it the ideal spot to bask in all things nature and truly appreciate Earth Day.
- The Corner
One may think that the hustle and bustle of the surrounding shops and cafes and restaurants will create an overwhelming environment, making it impossible to relish in the nature that Virginia has to offer. However, I am of the opinion that the high energy street corner has a unique personality making it one of the best places to enjoy a day outside. Seated on the patio of any restaurant you choose, you have the opportunity to embrace the city-like atmosphere and observe the park across the street. The diversity in atmosphere and people make the Corner my favorite place to embrace the naturality of UVA.
- The Tables Outside of Newcomb
It can be easily thought the Newcomb dining hall is good for nothing but a quick trip to Starbucks and Juice Laundry, however the tables outside provide the best location to enjoy a nice breeze, spend time with friends, and do some homework. Located near the lawn, it’s central to all academic buildings. The massive patio allows for a multitude of people to come and socialize and embrace all that is UVA.
