The Secret to Maintaining Glowy, Flawless Skin in Autumn

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UVA chapter.

Fall is officially upon us! As we pull out our cozy sweaters and deep berry lip shades, we can’t forget about pampering our skin! I’m a serious advocate for skincare, and strongly believe that healthy skin is happy skin! Here are my fall skincare essentials to keep your skin hydrated and glowing during the colder months!

1.    Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub ($8.49)

This affordable facial scrub never fails, and I always find myself returning to this product. Not only does it help prevent breakouts, but I also find that it smoothes out any bumps on my skin! This is definitely one of my all-time favorite holy grail products that keeps your skin looking flawless!

2.    Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner ($18.00)

I’ve recently ventured into the toner-realm of skincare. I stumbled across this one, and I love it! The glycolic acid in this product helps brighten, freshen, and revitalize my skin!

3.    Pond’s Dry Skin Cream ($4.99)

As the weather changes and temperatures drop, I find that my skin becomes dry and prone to flaking. This moisturizer is perfect to keep your skin hydrated during the fall and winter months, plus the price is unbeatable!

4.    Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ($17.00)

If your skin is prone to acne, you will be head-over-heels for this product. Simply apply the drying lotion to any new blemishes that arise, and this product will dry them out quickly and effectively! Drying lotion is vital in the path to clear skin.

5.    Mario Badescu Rose Water ($7.00)   Rose water keeps your skin hydrated and glowy throughout the day. It’s even the perfect size to throw in your bag for whenever you need a spontaneous spritz!

With these products, your skin will be glowy, dewy, and flawless as the colder months approach!
