Still searching for the perfect study snack? Completely stumped over something cute to bake for your boyfriend’s family or a friend for her birthday? Look no further. And forget Funfetti. While we’re at it, don’t even think about baking those boring boxed brownies or chocolate chip cookies for the millionth time. The latest fall trend in baked goods is Oreo Balls, a decadent cookies-n-crème concoction that is sure to impress any dessert fiend. Given to me by my dear friend and exceptional baker Maragaret Jala, the Oreo Balls recipe requires few ingredients and takes very little time to make, an ideal circumstance for a time-pressed college girl.

Ingredients:
·      1 package Oreos (I prefer Double Stuffed)
·      1 8 oz. package of plain cream cheese
·      1 package semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
·      Put the Oreos in a plastic bag and crush them completely with a rolling pin (any heavy object works). Another option is to grind the Oreos with a food processor if you have one on hand
·      Mix the completely mashed Oreo crumbs with the cream cheese until the Oreos and cheese are smoothly blended together
·      Roll the Oreo mix into 1 in. balls and refrigerate for half an hour
·      In the meantime, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave
·      With a toothpick, dip the Oreo balls in the melted chocolate and put back in the refrigerator for another half hour, or until the melted chocolate hardens.

Voila! The perfect fix for any Fall day.
