Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve definitely seen all the hype about Animal Crossing: New Horizons. But if you’re like me, you don’t have a Nintendo Switch (plus they’re super expensive.) But there’s good news! Join in on some of the fun by downloading Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp from the app store. It’s completely free, super adorable, and addicting. I’ve been playing for at least a month now and I’m addicted. There are always new events to keep the game fresh and engaging so it never gets old. If you’ve been dying to see what all the fuss is about but don’t want to fork over a couple hundred dollars, check this app out right now!

The next game works on most laptops and is a classic: The Sims 4. It’s also incredibly addicting and way too easy to spend hours playing. The game in the past has been upwards of $50, but is frequently on sale (as I write this, it’s $6.24 on Origin!) Enjoy making your Sim live the life you would if quarantine were not ruining everything fun. If you really get into it, you can also look into buying expansion packs with themes like “University” (virtual frat party anyone?) and “Island Living” (to get the vacation corona took away!)

However you decide to spend your time, take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy! There are no expectations in a pandemic. Why not enjoy yourself?
