What organizations are you involved in at UVA?

I am the President of the Virginia Gentlemen, an acapella group her on grounds. I work at the UVA Music Library in the Research and Special Collections Area, and I am involved with CRU Fellowship.

What is the #1 tip for first years?

My number one tip for first years would be to meet with your professors the first week of classes. They love getting to know you and it really sets the precedent for the rest of the semester.

Where is your favorite place to eat in Charlottesville? Best thing to order on the menu?

My favorite place to eat in Charlottesville is The Market at Bellair on Ivy Road. I always order the Ednam Sandwich there!

On the Turning Away by Pink Floyd

Favorite UVA Tradition?

Lighting of the Lawn! I love the singing and how everyone bundles up in the cold together.

I speak Japanese. I’m really great at catching food in my mouth, and I can quote all of The Lord of the Rings.
