This Thursday, October 17th, Duo will be hosting a night with Her Campus at UVA. The event will take place from 5-7 pm. All Her Campus readers will receive a 10% discount off of their purchases, and snacks will be provided!
Duo is located on Elliewood Ave. The store features two floors which have different offerings. The lower level features designer clothing and jewelry. It is new, and offered in a wide variety of price ranges and size options. The upstairs is gently used clothing. I have purchased a few things from this floor, and have been extremely satisfied with my purchases! These include a pair of jeweled sandles, in addition to a gold and black clutch. The size offerings are more limited, but the prices are often lower and more affordable for the average college student.
Duo also will buy back gently used clothing. All you need to do is call them at 979-1212 to set up an appointment and you can receive up to 50% back off of the original price. You can either accept store credit, or cash on the spot. It’s a great way to get rid of some clothes that have been hanging in your closet all year long that you simply do not have much occasion to wear.
