Ark.com is a social search engine that allows users to search for people based on a variety of criteria, such as hometown, interests, and even relationship status. All of the criteria are perfect for the 20-something college student, looking to make new friends, find partners for activities, and network with new business contacts.
Ark.com is planning to officially re-launch in just a few months and is going to start on college campuses. Ark has created a competition between colleges to decide what campuses to hit first. Essentially, the school with the most students signed up will receive first access when the site goes live in early 2013. The five campuses with the most sign ups by December 23rd, 2012 will get first access to Ark and an awesome launch party!
