2. Kath Eats Real Food
Kath lives in Charlottesville, and her interesting recipes and use of fresh, local food always gets me excited to try new recipes and seek out the freshest food to use. A friend of mine describes this site as “cute food pics + occasional C-ville restaurant shout-outs + general distraction worthy cuteness.” Does it get any better than that?  In this age of diets and weight loss plans, it’s a nice reminder that some people, like Kath, eat real food!

4. Smitten Kitchen
Recently named the Best Food Weblog in the 12th Annual Bloggies Awards in March, 2012, this food blog has it all.  The writing is superb, the recipes are to die for, and the pictures are realistic enough to tempt me to reach in and grab a bite of quiche.Where else are you going to learn how to make carrot cake pancakes and scallion meatballs all in the same place?

Take a break from studying for finals, be inspired by these blogs, and allow yourself some time to indulge in cooking bliss.
