Bea Miller is well-known for her appearance as a preteen on the X-Factor in 2012, but her recent trio of LP’s demonstrate that she has grown up considerably. Named after colors (blue, red, and yellow) each album has a completely different vibe. Highlights are the bad-ass “like that” on part two: red and the sassy “S.L.U.T” on “part three: yellow”.

With her trademark breathy beats and catchy chorus, Banks makes a brilliant return with “Underdog”. It’s definitely a single to check out this fall.

However, her two most recent singles underscore an impressive artistry. “Havana” is a slow and sultry tropical bop and worth checking out before it starts playing on every radio station. “OMG” is a R &B influenced single with a very different vibe, yet it’s just as addictive.
