What are you involved in?
I’m a member of ADPI and I’m on the riding team at UVA.
What are you looking forward to next year?
I’m definitely looking forward to being co-captain of the riding team! We get to plan horse shows, organize events, and more. It’s going to be so cool! I’m also excited because I’m applying for Chemistry research opportunities at UVA- I need as much credit as I can possibly get!
Favorite romance story?
Not trying to be totally basic but… The Notebook, it’s my absolute favorite of all time.
Dream Vacation?
Oh my gosh, this might just be the stress getting to me but I’d want to escape to an abandoned island somewhere. I’d love to go hiking and then be able to lay on the beach all day, just have some time to myself!
If you could speak any language, which would it be & why?
I would love to be fluent in Italian! It’s such a beautiful language- but I’m a little biased due to the fact that I’m from Italian origin. My goal is to ride in a gondola, eat great pasta, and take in the scenery along side my gorgeous Italian boyfriend (all while speaking flawless Italian). A girl can dream right?
Your perfect summer day?
I would wake up early and go outside immediately! I’d watch the sunrise by the water, go horseback riding in the fields, then come back and relax on the beach with a good book by my side. I would love to go to this little café, “Tease,” in Rhode Island for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s walking distance from the water, owned by the cutest family, and the best homemade breakfast food I’ve ever had. Oh, and I’d end the day with a good oldie, preferably: “Tequila Sunrise”.
Finals are coming up, what’s your #1 survival tip?
I would say: take breaks and SLEEP. You’re nothing without your sleep- even if you think you are: you’ll end up passing out on your computer (believe me).
Proudest moment this year?
I’m proud of having joined a sorority! I honestly came in thinking sorority life “isn’t for me,” but I gave it a try and I’m so happy I did. I’m having so much fun and I’ve met so many amazing girls.
