6 Healthier Recipes to Satisfy Your Cravings

Eating healthy can feel like a challenge when you’re constantly surrounded by temptations. Whether it be from walking by a bakery, or seeing someone eat a slice of pizza, there are all kinds of things that can set off cravings. However, your cravings don’t have to derail your healthy diet, because there are plenty of healthy substitutions you can make. Here are six recipes that show how easy it is to make healthier swaps.

1.     For when you’re craving brownies…

Try these raw-brownie energy bites. The combination of dates, unsweetened cocoa, and nuts makes for a decadent chocolate, fudgy bite that is guaranteed to make you forget all about those traditional brownies.

2.     For when you’re craving savory junk food…

Try these crackers that use the almond pulp leftover from homemade almond milk (which is so much easier to make than you think!). You can also play around with the seasoning to have different flavor combinations on hand.

 

3.     For when you’re craving pancakes…

Try these pancakes made of just eggs and bananas. Instead of reaching for the boxed mix that’s loaded with sketchy ingredients you can’t pronounce, go for something just as simple and easy with these two-ingredient pancakes.

4.     For when you’re craving ice cream…

Try this mint chocolate chip smoothie! This smoothie has protein, healthy fats, and veggies, and is just as satisfying as ice cream!
