Does the New Jonas Brothers Song Sound Familiar?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UTSA chapter.

When I first listened to Cool by the Jonas Brothers, it reminded me of a song I had heard before. It was annoying me for a few days, and I finally decided to do a little research on Twitter.

Twitter to the rescue, once again. Everyone was thinking the same thing.

Everyone thought of a wide variety of songs and/or artists:

  • No Air by Jordin Sparks
  • You and I by Lady Gaga
  • Smoke by A Thousand Horses
  • Rockstar by Nickelback
  • One Direction

I’m on team You and I during the verses, and Smoke during the chorus, but I lean HARD towards Smoke — the tone of the voices in both songs sound exactly the SAME!

What do you think?
