Things to do When You Need to Feel Productive

Some days you want to lay in bed and watch Netflix all day. Others you need to camp out in the library and cram for exams. Then there are the days where you know you need to get stuff done, but you don’t know where to start. Here a few easy things to do on the days you need to feel productive, and not like a couch potato.

 

1. Make a list

If you have specific things you wanna get done, make a list. Just having it all in one place will make you feel organized and make getting started on your chores SO much easier… Plus checking things off a list is so rewarding.

 

2. Laundry

Laundry is something that always needs to get done, and can be done while catching up on Greys…. It’s a win win to me.

 

3. Dishes

See above for the reason why dishes should be a favorite chore.

 

4. Clean out your car

Bonus points if it’s the first nice day out in a while.

 

5. Get ahead on work

Whether it be schoolwork or real work, you’ll thank yourself later.

 

6. Go to the gym

Whether you go on a regular basis or almost never, you never regret getting an extra workout in.

 

7. Call your mom

I bet she misses your voice and you miss hers. Telling her all the great things you’re up to will make you feel productive and loved.
