To my Little, when you get your Big, you think they are the world. They do all these nice things for you and spoil you with gifts and snacks as well as their time. You never really stop and think about what a gift you are to your Big. Throughout my time as a Little, I was blessed to have a good relationship with my Big. When I took my Little, my life was enriched even more. Here’s to you, Little.

When you become a Big, it is your job to be a mentor, friend and a helping hand. What you don’t realize is that your Little is also there for you too. She may not completely understand the phase of life you are in at this point, but she is there to help pick you up when you are down. No one’s Big/Little relationship is perfect, but I have to say my Little was exactly what I needed when I took her.

There has never been a dull moment. From keeping each other sane during recruitment to spur of the moment Mexican dates, you have kept life interesting. For that, I am thankful.

It’s no secret that most sorority women go through times where they feel like giving up and quitting their sorority. Through that time, you were my reason for staying. Whether you knew it or not, you were helpful and encouraging to me through my moments of disappointment and stress. You were a voice of reason when I needed it the most and I am grateful for that.
Thank you for renewing my love for our sweet Zeta Tau Alpha.
At times, it is easy to lose sight of why we joined and what keeps us here. On days I needed it the most, I saw how much love you had for this organization and that made me fall in love all over again.
Enjoy it while you can.
It is so easy to wish your life away and wish you could move on to the next chapter of your life. My advice to you is to enjoy your time in college while you can. I know it can be stressful and frustrating at times, but as a senior fixing to graduate and be in the real world, I would give anything to be where you are. I promise, it’s less stressful. Don’t get caught up in wishing it all away. You don’t know this now, but someday you will look back and realize that these are some of the best times of your life.
I hope your experience in Zeta has been all you hoped it would be. I hope our relationship as Big/Little has brought you the happiness it has brought me. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you continue to do, even after I am gone. I know you will be such a great Big to my future Grand-Little. Even after I graduate, you will always be my Little. Thank you for enriching my life and experience as an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha. Most importantly, thank you for being my Little.
