The Best of Hannah Montana

2019 has been a crazy year of comebacks (and it’s only April). For example, the Jonas Brothers getting back together, releasing a song and talking about the works of a tour and movie. Miley Cyrus may have the biggest, and definitely the most shocking, “comeback” of the year thus far though. If you haven’t seen Miley’s new haircut, you have to check it out. She cut it and it looks exactly like the famous Hannah Montana wig.

If you’re like me, her haircut probably got you really excited because, yay, it’s Hannah Montana! However, it also got you down in the dumps because you remember how much you miss Hannah, especially when you see the post about how it has been 13 years since the first episode aired. So let’s sit back and reminisce about the good ol’ days of Disney. Here are some of my favorite episodes of Hannah Montana:

I Will Always Loathe You (Season 2 Episode 20)

Anytime I see Dolly Parton or Vicki Lawrence on anything, I automatically think about this episode. This is the one where Miley’s “Aunt Dolly” and “Mamaw” are constantly in a fight, and eventually it’s revealed that it’s about who Elvis loved more!

Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas (Season 2 Episode 16)

Before the Jonas Brothers made their comeback this year, or even had their own show on Disney channel, they guest starred on Hannah Montana! In this episode, Miley and Lily, or should I say Milo and Otis, go to the recording studio to keep Billy Ray from hanging out with the Jonas Brothers.

Achy Jakey Heart Part One (Season 2 Episode 9)

I was by far team Jake (Cody Linley) right from the start. This is the episode where Miley is just beginning to deal with her feelings for Jake. Meanwhile, Oliver and Jackson create the incredible rap song “Cheese Jerky”.

Get Down, Study-udy-udy (Season 2 Episode 4)

Here we see Miley try to get her grades up so Hannah can go to Europe. That studying produced the iconic “Bone Dance” song that I still sing today.

Good Golly, Miss Dolly (Season 1 Episode 16)

Another Dolly classic for sure. This is where we see Aunt Dolly dress up in fashionable spy wear to try to help Miley get back a tape where she had confessed her love for Jake.

He Could Be the One (Season 3 Episode 18)

One of the best Hannah songs came out of this episode for sure. Here we see Hannah begin to have a crush on her bad boy guitar player, Jesse, while she still has feelings for Jake, and how she handles this dilemma.

(We’re So Sorry) Uncle Earl (Season 2 Episode 22)

David Koechner as Uncle Earl comes to visit and wants Hannah to help him become a rock star. The gig where Hannah ends up helping Uncle Earl is one that is being watched by an extremely important critic.

When You Wish You Were the Star (Season 2 Episode 12)

Miley ends up wishing on a shooting star asking that she could be Hannah all the time after her and Lily turn down a date with Jesse McCartney because they have a science project due the next day. She eventually realizes being famous all the time would have cost her relationships with the ones she loves most.

The Way We Almost Weren’t (Season 2 Episode 23)

Hannah is on tour, but Miley wants to rush home in order to see Maroon 5. Her dad wants her to stop and eat at the diner where he and her mom first met. Miley is struck by lighting and is sent back in time. Jackson and Miley then have to work as a team to ensure their parents meet before they disappear.

I’ll Always Remember You (Season 4 Episode 9)

This one is by far the saddest episode because Miley reminisces through all of her old Hannah outfits and then goes out and tells the world about her alter ego.
