Hamza Allahditta is a Brooklyn native and is currently a junior at Utica College majoring in Psychobiology with a concentration P.A. Hamza is known on the UC campus due to his outstanding membership and involvement in multiple organizations. He is well known for his friendly and outgoing personality on the Utica College Campus.

HCU: What organizations are you involved in on campus?

Hamza: I am a currently the seminar coordinator of ASA Gray Biological Society, President of Pre-Health Professional Society, Junior residential senator of Student Government Association and the Assistant Director of Utica College Programming Board.

HCU: Why did you join these organizations?

Hamza: My reason for joining these organizations was because they stand to represent the student’s voice were on a large platform or a specific one.  These organizations have taught me numerous life lessons, that I will utilize in my professional career.

HCU: What Greek are you part of and why did you join?

Hamza: I am a brother of Alpha Phi Omega Eta Mu chapter and former Vice President of Service. APO has been one of the highlights of my college career because I have found lifelong friends being part of this organization and it has taught what it means to be part something bigger than me. 

HCU: Why did you choose Psychobiology as your major and what do you hope to do with your degree?

Hamza: I am majoring in Psychobiology with a concentration in P.A. I switched my major from biology to Psychobiology because it would help me stay on the professional track. I hope to go to P.A. school or graduate school of biomedical science or Government and Politics.

HCU: What are some hobbies you enjoy outside of school?

Hamza:  As a Psychobiology major you don’t really have much time for anything but, I love taking pictures. Photography is something I have always been interested in and passionate about, so I use my iPhone to take pictures whenever I can until I get a professional camera.

Meet Chantelle, I am Chantelle,currently a Junior at Utica College majoring in Public Relations and Journalism to receive my Bachelors of Science degree. I am the treasurer for the Residence Hall Association at Utica College, in which i help students to improve the environment of their residence halls by fundraising to bring enjoyable and inclusive activities to residents.I believe that helping to improve the residence halls will allow students to not only appreciate, but respect their living spaces. I work in the Writing center as a tutor. I am a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success and a sister of Theta Phi Alpha.
