I’d like to consider myself a wannabe makeup guru because I invest in a lot of different makeup products ranging from palettes to foundations, highlighters, lipsticks and etc.. Makeup is probably one of my favorite things to wear and play around with. I am a huge fan of Fenty Beauty, they have some of my favorite products and I get so excited looking at the products. I think Rihanna came in and killed the makeup game when it comes to foundation, concealer, highlighter and now lipsticks.

I just bought my first Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in the shade “Uncensored.” I bought this specific color because I was on the hunt for a red lipstick that would look good on my skin tone and was bold. I decided to specifically a lipstick from Fenty because it’s one of my favorite brands and their products always work great so I figured it would be a good buy.

It turns out I was right, the lipstick was definitely worth it and I’m so glad I bought it. Let’s first talk about the applicator, I think the way the applicator is shaped makes it easy to apply the lipstick and it holds a lot of product. A little bit on the applicator goes a long way! Second, I want to discuss the color. Typically you have the find the right shade of red to match your skin and undertones but this is a universal shade of red that would look good on anyone. The color is SO bold and absolutely stunning on, I have no complaints about this shade of red at all. It can really turn any makeup look into a glam one and really pull the look together. Let’s address the formula now. I was so impressed with this lipstick formula. I found it very creamy, matte and did not cake/flake up when I was wearing it which is huge when I wear a matte lipstick. It looked as if I just applied it when in reality, I had been wearing it for several hours.

My only complaint about this lipstick is that it’s definitely not kiss-proof and will smear on you and the other person so do not wear this lipstick if you have a date and things might get steamy. IT WILL TRANSFER, I speak from experience, unfortunately (shoutout to my date for laughing it off and being a good sport about red lipstick all over both our faces). That was the only time I noticed transfer from the lipstick.

While I was disappointed that the color did in fact transfer (I know not to wear it again if I ever get a second date with that guy), I won’t let that stop me from loving the product. I was impressed with all other areas, I think Rihanna KILLED it with this matte lipstick and I can’t wait to wear it again.
