1. Sex Education

Sex Education is such an amazing show. I could not stop watching it. The short summary of this show is this “A teenage boy with a sex therapist mother teams up with a high school classmate to set up an underground sex therapy clinic at school.” That might not sound interesting but trust me, it is. Basically, Otis and Maeve, two teens at school, come up with a sex clinic to help their classmates at school to make money. It is funny, heart warming, sad. It is everything you did not even know you needed. Also, Asa Butterfield. That’s all I have to say.

2. You

I have so many thoughts on this show. It was incredible. And creepy. And terrifying. And a huge wake up call. It made me switch all my social media accounts to private. Basically it is about a bookstore manager named Joe who crosses paths with Guinevere Beck, a grad student and aspiring writer. Joe googles  Beck and finds out information about her life through social media and uses it to make her fall in love with him. That, and lots of killing.

3. Big Mouth

I love this show and it is probably 95% because of the way the hormone monstress (voiced by Maya Rudolph) says bubble bath. Basically, this is an animated show that is basically about three friends growing up. It’s funny and perfect to watch while doing homework (or trying to do homework).

4. The Good Place

I love Kristen Bell and this show. Basically, it’s about Eleanor, who finds herself dead and accidently put in the Good Place. She tries to avoid being sent to the Bad Place by trying to redeem herself and be good, with the help of her new friends. I watched two seasons in a weekend, it was that good.

5. Bo Jack Horseman

This show is basically about a washed up sitcom actor horse (most the characters are animals) named Bo Jack. It doesn’t sound that interesting as I type this but it deals with topics you would not normally think a show like this would cover–like depression, amongst other things. I highly recommend checking this out, even if it is just something to put in the background when you are doing work.

If you need a new show to watch, or just feel like procrastinating, I recommend checking out these shows.

Meet Bianca, I am currently a Junior at Utica College in Utica, NY.  I am a Criminal Justice major with a concentration in Homeland Security.  Crime investigation has always been something that interests me.  I’m dedicated and passionate and it’s hard for me to quit things. I get that from my father so don’t hold it against me- he was a veteran and police officer for 20 years.   Growing up in a family centered around law enforcement has helped guide me in this direction, and I will forever be grateful.  After graduation I intend to continue on to law school where I can further my education in hopes of becoming a criminal defense lawyer and later on a District Attorney.  An interesting fact about myself is that I found the passion to be a criminal defense lawyer from watching the O.J. Simpson case.  The facts and conspiracy theories evoked a whole new passion behind criminal investigation that I intend to use in my future.  One of my most prominent moments in my writing career was when I wrote for an online magazine and had my most prevalent article hit 1.6k shares.  I believe in treating people with the same kind of respect and manners you would expect in return, and in a way it has helped shaped my expectations in life.   When you first meet me I won’t be the loudest in the room or the center of attention, but I will be intently listening to everything you say, for what you have to say may have a purpose. I believe in purpose. I believe that everyone is here to help you grow into who you are today and who you will be tomorrow.
