Today Kylie Jenner posted on her Snapchat story about companies that are selling fake Kylie Cosmetics products, and warned her fans to be careful when purchasing her products online. She starts by calling out a website and showing that looks highly similar to hers saying that it shoppers need to always check the URLs. This counterfeit website was called kyliecosmeticsoutlet.com similar to her kyliecosmetics.com. She also warns that the ingredients the fake lipsticks contain are low quality and potentially dangerous which she claims is her biggest concern when it comes to the fake products. She shows a website selling the knock off cosmetics that markets a Kylie Cosmetics powdered foundation; something that Kylie’s actual line doesn’t even sell!
For those of you that are fans of the celebrity cosmetics line, watch out for fake websites that sell lower quality product. The product itself could be dangerous to use on your skin. According to Kylie, the customer service from these websites is poor too. She claims she gets tweets asking why orders haven’t shipped or the product that customers received was wrong and when her customer service teams looks into it they can tell that those orders weren’t shipped by Kylie’s company, so if you’re a fan of the Lip Kits and Kyliners, be wary of knock off websites. The worst part, they’re still the same price so what’s even the point?
