Ski Racing’s NCAA Week 1 Power Ranking, University of Utah Ski Team Ranks #1

Living in a place like Utah, it’s easy to top the charts in snow sports.
With wins at both the Colorado and Denver Invitationals, the U of U’s Ski Team claimed #1 on skiracing.com’s NCAA Week 1 Power Rankings.
According to the article by C.J. Feehan,
“#1 Utah – Both alpine and Nordic squads are bringing serious pace. The Utes are already demonstrating the kind of well-rounded depth to go all the way this year.”
The ski team competes at the Alaska Anchorage Invitational on Feb. 4, 6, 8, and 10.
Let’s keep on cheering our Utes through a victorious season!

Lexi Jones is a senior with a double major in journalism and anthropology at the University of Utah. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, she loves exploring the outdoors, rock climbing, music, and writing. She is currently a museum aid for the Bureau of Land Management.
