Who doesn’t love that time of year when the flowers bloom, the trees become green again, and the sun decides to show itself in the perfectly blue sky! Well, after the rain stops, and if you can see the sun past your watery eyes because, you know, allergy season.

Never mind all of that though! Even though there are some cons to the spring season, there is the great pro that is spring fashion. Ah, florals… While they may not be groundbreaking, they are surely delightful after all those winter coats and warm beanies. So, today I’m going to be highlighting some of my spring fashion picks that I am most excited to see again after the long winter season. Categorized by brand, here are some of my fashion and beauty choices for the spring season.

Honey Lula Designs

Perfect for spring! I adore Honey Lula Designs’… designs! Honey Lula has some of the most adorable and elegant jewelry. You have your gorgeous pearl-accented pieces, and your flowery and candy-colored necklaces and bracelets to go with the spring season.

My favorites? I absolutely adore her Candy Shop Collection – who doesn’t love it when candy is involved? Even if it is only in the name… But! I digress. I love Honey Lula’s Sweet Tooth Necklace – yes it indeed does look like candy and pearls! Perfect combo. I will also especially be wearing my Fancy Flower Bracelet for spring as it features beautifully detailed flower acrylic beads, freshwater pearls, and 14kt gold-filled hardware. You can feel and see the stunning quality with this brand. Even more so in-person. And, get excited because their 2022 Spring/Summer pieces are launching April 24th, 2022!

Marney’s the creator and owner of Honey Lula Designs and it all started with the special creation of a gemstone Mala – Mala beads are used in meditation and prayer. After others started commissioning Marney to create Malas for them, Honey Lula Designs began in full bloom! The ‘Honey’ in Honey Lula Designs comes from Marney’s mother who passed away in 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. According to Honey Lula Designs: “Honey was the glue to her family and people all around her. She was the ‘Can do girl’ who did whatever it took to bring a smile to everyone around her.  [Marney] hopes to honor her sweet mama, by following her passion of creating special pieces that bring joy to those around her.” And joy they very much do bring.

Thistle & Spire

Time for some bras and bralettes to be paired under your blazers and jackets! I love it when the warmer months arrive because it means I can start pairing my jackets with simple, sexy, and stylish bra. My current favorites are from Thistle & Spire, and each piece I have is both unique and versatile. Thistle & Spire has been my new favorite lingerie brand since I discovered them a while back. Their quality and designs are fantastic, with the designs being unique to their brand. This spring I’ll be wearing the Kane V-wire Bra set in their lilac/thistle color for under my blazers and dresses. And if you really want to see how gorgeous their designs get, I recommend getting their Cirsi Strapless Bra. I own this set and it is even more beautiful in person.

Other favorites? Of course I adore the IL Mare Bodysuit, and I have a cute black romper in their Brooklyn Haze style. Simply put, Thistle & Spire is a goldmine when it comes to sexy and beautiful lingerie.

Graphic tees anyone? Yes, please! The warmer seasons also mean you’ll likely be sporting some more t-shirts and shorts. This spring and summer I’ll likely be wearing my Elton John shirt from Chaser as much as I can. It’s so soft and Chaser always creates such amazing designs, especially when it comes to their graphic tees. I mean, one look at their collection and you’ll fall in love. I’ll also be needing more shorts as soon as summer approaches, so I think Chaser’s Heirloom Paperbag Shorts will be perfect with my Elton tee!

Saltwater Luxe

What’s your go-to top? Saltwater Luxe’s cotton shirt jacket is mine! In a beautiful bone-beige color it goes with any pant, short, skirt, or under top! Mine is always close by to throw on on my way out, and it’s perfect for those light rainy days where you need something a bit warmer than a simple tank and skirt. But speaking of cute tanks and skirts, I also adore Saltwater Luxe’s Lia Skirt paired with their Serena Tank. These sweet little florals seem pretty groundbreaking paired with their shirt jacket!

Hallelujah! One of my new favorite shoe styles has been gloriously found with this brand: Brandblack. I just have to mention their faux shearling sneakers. I don’t care what season it is, I’ll be attempting to wear these babies no matter the weather. Okay, well maybe not skiing, or at the beach… but they are indeed glorious — I mean who doesn’t love a teddy sneaker? I love faux-shearling shoes so much I’ll also be wearing their Women’s Apres Kashiba Slides Rust Shearling as well, which are incredibly cozy and soft. For the spring and summer, I’ll be wearing their Women’s Capo Dirty Black Brown sneaker – comfortable and stylish – and I’ll be taking more jogging trips to the park wearing their Saga 130 Orange sneakers. These have an ultralight maximal cushion midsole and a “high traction rubber outsole and shank for mid-foot support.” Basically, they’re real comfy.

Tailored Union

Okay, so those really cute teddy sneakers I was talking about? Yep, I’m calling them teddy sneakers. Well I’m going to need to pair them with some cozy and cute socks. I kind of have an expansive designer sock collection going on. And I just added some more — like a lot — from Tailored Union. Where do I begin? Well, I paired my teddy sneakers with their Cable socks and their pink heart socks in their XO Pack — you get three heart-themed pairs!

Spring also means I’ll be wearing heels with some very cute sheer socks, and I have the cutest ones from Tailored Union. Their Tall Shimmer Knee socks are perfect with a pair of mary janes, penny loafers, or heels. I also love wearing their Beholder Women’s All Good socks — colorful and cute. I also have some insanely wonderful designer socks I got from Tailored Union that are out of this world glorious. Their Slowdown Studio Banana Socks are a new favorite indeed, as well as their Kelly Kikcio Women’s Pack which comes with four pairs of designer socks. Plus, that pack comes with a wonderful Plastics Sad Bag design and Soft Bodies Nude Sheer design. Oh and their Cow Hide Colored Socks are godly! I will be wearing those as much as possible. Why wouldn’t I? I’m not completely crazy.

Real Techniques x Female Collective

Now, I’m sure you’re looking for some lovely spring makeup looks to compliment the lovely outfits you’ll be wearing. We start with the brushes, the sponges, and the bag! I have a set that has everything you need for all your makeup. Real Techniques recently collaborated with Female Collective for this collection of brushes, sponges, and a sweet cosmetic bag! Female Collective is “a platform that empowers, uplifts, and celebrates the feminine spirit founded and 100% owned by Candace Reels” — “an intersectional feminist and self-love advocate.” This collection is perfect if you want new brushes that are incredibly soft and colorfully designed. What’s more? Real Techniques also partnered with Black Girls Smile. This organization is one that’s “dear to Candace’s heart that is dedicated to empowering the mental wellbeing of young Black women. There will be a monetary donation and Real Techniques will include the organization within the marketing activations to give their cause a platform to speak.” The collection was thoughtfully designed and made, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for some incredibly soft makeup brushes from a great brand.

Incoming! NAILS.INC just released their Spring 2022 collection and it is so great that you’ll want to pick up more than one nail polish set. There are so many colors, almost too many to pick from. I would start with their Feeling So Fly Nail Polish Stickers Set (which come with butterfly stickers people!) Then I’d probably top that off with their Floral For Spring 4-Piece Set — everything’s better in a combo pack! Just scour their site for your favorite shades and they’re bound to have them. And another NAILS.INC product I’m in love with is the eye Party Recharge Cooling Eye Masks. Glory to these masks! They’re just what you need after a long day when you’re in desperate need of relaxation. They cool your eyes with their “cryo actives and hydrating hyaluronic acid to soothe and bring back the brightness.” This pack comes with 20 pairs to last you all spring season.

Charlotte Tilbury

I’m really excited about Charlotte Tilbury’s latest collection. Especially their Pillow Talk Push Up Mascara in a new color! Their new Dream Pop color almost looks like a burgundy brown shade. It’s a berry brown shade that really makes your eyes pop! Their Pillow Talk Multi-Glow in Romance Light is also a must-have addition to anyone’s makeup collection for the spring. I also can’t get enough of cream eyeshadow sticks, or their new Pillow Talk color , both of which are exquisitely beautiful! That and their new mascara, my eyes are sparkling like never before! That is, if those dang allergies don’t make me tear up again… *sigh.* I guess that’s why we’re focusing on the pros of spring, aren’t we?

So, which of these spring favorites are you excited to get? A colorful mascara? High heels and sheer socks? Those graphic tees? Or your favorite bra and blazer? Ah, long live spring fashion!
