Here is Where You Need to be Shopping for Your Hair Accessories

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Utah chapter.

The return of the hair accessories trends over the past two to three years has been too good not to talk about. You name the accessory and it’s probably back in style. Hair scarves, clips, headbands, and even scrunchies are back on everyone’s radar—mine included. Even the celebrities were quick to accessorize: Vanessa Hudgens rocked a neon green scrunchie while getting coffee and Bella Hadid threw it back to the ’90s with face-framing hair clips.

After looking at all of these photos I was so eager to try out these looks for myself and felt unsure of where to start. But don’t worry, I’ve searched long and far for the best places to shop for hair accessories and I am so excited to share.

American Eagle

In the past, we have known American Eagle as a clothing outlet, but they have a super great in-store and online collection of hair accessories, specifically scrunchies. With a display full of dozens of color and style options, you are sure to find a scrunchie, or even a scrunchie set, that fits your personal style. Their sister store, Aerie, also occasionally sells the cutest head wraps that are perfect for any beach day or even just to head to class. Go to the American Eagle hair accessories page here; seriously, go check it out because their selection is big enough to make your jaw drop.

Brooklyn & Bailey

I love this site because it was created by two young entrepreneurs. From scrunchies to clips to bobbles (which are so bold, I love it), they sell it all. This shop also has sales very often, which is perfect for a college budget. Not only are you supporting to young business owners and their small business, but you are also purchasing unique pieces that they helped to create, and they are so cute. I’ll link their hair page here for you to shop.

BooHoo

If you are looking for headbands, this is the place to shop. They have a wide selection of headband styles, some simple and some bold. A lot of these pieces can make an outfit if we are being honest. This site also often runs sales on the weekly, so it is easy and fast to add things to your cart and wait for the price drop. The shop also includes a variety of clips and scrunchies if you feel like getting carried away while online shopping (don’t we all). Their hair accessories page is linked here for you.

Urban Outfitters

A classic these days but I felt that it was important to include because this shop had so many unique prints and patterns when it comes to hair accessories. If you are looking to diversify the colors and prints of your current hair accessories, I would definitely take a look through their page, specifically at their hair scarves. Urban Outfitters also offers great options for clips and scrunchies if you are on the market for either. Tip: hair accessories are often put in the clearance section of the website, check it often to find the best budget based deals for your hair accessory needs. Linked here is there hair accessories page for you to take a look through.

All of these shops can be a great starting point for your collection, or they can be great places to add to what you already own. Soon you will need a whole new drawer in your bathroom to keep all of your new purchases, I for sure know that I do after looking through these websites.
