It’s that time of year again. It’s what some may call the WORST time of year: finals week. Finishing your finals has to be one of the greatest feelings ever, but finally having free time after finishing them is even better. Need something to do with your free time? Luckily, services like Netflix, HBO Go, Xfinity on Demand, and Amazon Prime offer loads of great shows to binge watch. Not sure which one to start with? Here is a list of some of my favorite TV shows to binge on after finals:
Sex and the City
Sex and the City went off the air in 2004, so you have 6 great seasons waiting for you on HBO Go. If you haven’t heard of it already, the show follows 4 women in their 30’s and their hilarious and relatable stories of romance, friendship, and a little promiscuity. Everyone needs a little Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha in their life.
American Horror Story
As you could guess from the title, AHS is not for the faint of heart. There are currently 3 seasons on Netflix, and the show is described as an anthology series. This means that each season has a different cast of characters and completely different story lines, which keeps things interesting. If you’re into thrillers, AHS is definitely for you.
Orange is the New Black
Two seasons of this show are currently on Netflix (the third season is coming out some time in 2015). The series revolves around a woman named Piper Chapman who is sentenced to 15 months in a women’s federal prison for transporting a suitcase full of money 10 years ago. This show is hilarious and also dramatic, and will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
How I Met Your Mother
HIMYM has all 9 seasons currently on Netflix waiting for you. The show follows Ted Mosby and his group of friends in Manhattan. It’s set as Ted telling the story of the events that led up to how he met his children’s’ mother over the course of several years. HIMYM will have you laughing and crying all at the same time.
