Moving out to Salt Lake City last year forced me out of my comfort zone. In order to find some familiarity in this strange new place, I turned to my comfort beverage: tea. So, I sought out the best tea spots in SLC and have consolidated my favorites just for you!

Tea Zaanti — 1944 S 1100 E

In Sugar House, my favorite neighborhood, there sits a small tea house serving up delicious tea and the coziest vibes. Tea Zaanti has everything you could ask for in a tea house: dozens of options, lots of seating, and amazing snacks! My personal favorite is the mango black ceylon tea!

Tea Grotto — 401 E 900 S

I think of Tea Grotto as Tea Zaanti’s quieter, older sister. The same amazing selection, but in a much smaller and more calming setting. This is definitely a good place to go de-stress! Their mango ceylon is amazing as well!

Tulie (Sugar House) — 1510 South 1500 East

While both the Liberty Wells and Sugar House locations are very nice, I personally love going to the one in Sugar House! Centered in a block of adorable restaurants and cafes on 15th and 15th, Tulie has an amazing selection of seasonal baked goods and drinks, as well as a variety of teas! I always go for the peach blossom white tea, but there being so many to choose from!

Publik (avenues) — 502 East Third Ave

Publik is like if you put fall in a cafe — there they serve up the coziest leaf-falling vibes in a quaint location! In addition to their deliciously diverse tea selection, they also have an amazing hot cider during the fall and tasty snacks year-round.

Coffee GARDEN — 878 eAST 900 sOUTH

With so many customizable options, you really can only blame yourself if you don’t like your drink at Coffee Garden. Located in the heart of 9th and 9th, they’re always busy and bustling but never to a point where you don’t feel welcome!

If you can’t already tell, I love tea! I was so happy to find so many great options here in SLC. With fall upon us, now is the perfect time to get cozy with a cup of warm tea in your hand!
