Starting college can be overwhelming and you can feel like your to-do list is never-ending. Here is one, though, that you’ll want to make sure to check off…don’t worry, I promise this to-do list will be fun.

-Start every football game day right with tailgating.

-Pull an all-nighter at the library with your friends in a booth! Treat yo-self with a Crimson View lunch the next day.

-Attend at least one Crimson Nights and learn more about what UPC has to offer.

-Try the grill at the Peterson Heritage Center and see how many cheeseburgers you can eat in one sitting.

-Go to a Dance Department Function and see the amazing talent at our University!

-Read Her Campus as a study break!

-Take one of these online classes for an easy A!

-Get a picture of yourself by the Block U!

-Buy MUSS tickets and go to as many football games as possible.

-Try out the local grub…like B&D’s $2 Tuesdays.

-Visit the Career Center and get an early start on your future!

-Attend the annual Women’s Leadership Summit!

-Chill out by the pool at the Student Life Center.

-Go on an Outdoor Recreation Center trip and explore other areas of Utah.

-Attend Redfest with your buddies.

-Take advantage of all the free food events…the ULEAD luncheons are almost every week.

-Participate in the Legacy of Lowell Service Day!

-Take a non-credit fitness program with the Life Center.

-Buy a discount pass to one of the Ski Resorts and play hooky one day. (But just one day.)

Now that you know exactly what to do your freshman year, get a good start this upcoming weekend!

Hi! I'm Madison Keyser and am a student at the University of Utah.  I am a sophomore double majoring in Economics and Spanish hoping to go to Law School someday.  I am an Alpha Chi Omega, love to play lacrosse and do anything outside.  I am so excited to be a Her Campus writer!
