I’ve been listening to Ed Sheeran for years now, and I honestly feel like everything he releases just continues to get better. I remember when Divide came out my freshman year of college, I don’t think I turned it off for a solid month. We’ve been waiting two years now for new music from Ed; this July, he finally blessed our ears with a new album – No. 6 Collaborations Project – and it is incredible.

I’m seriously convinced that Ed Sheeran can do anything. Like, we should probably just let him rule the world at this point. This album is proof that no matter what he takes on, he excels at it. The album consists of 15 tracks, all of which are either collaborations with another artist(s), or feature another artist. He used an extremely diverse range of musicians, and every single song is unique. From Justin Bieber to Cardi B to Ella Mai to Travis Scott, he really covered all of his bases and somehow managed to pull off ballads, hip-hop jams, and songs with a Latin swing. How does he do it??

Here are some of my favorites from the album:

“I Don’t Care” – Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber

The first single released from this album was a song he did with Justin Bieber. It blew up immediately, and set the bar pretty darn high for the rest of the album. The music video is a trip, too.

“Beautiful People” – Ed Sheeran feat. Khalid

Wow, two angels in one song! Their voices fit so well together, I cry every time :’). There is an acoustic version of this one on Ed Sheeran’s YouTube channel, and it is equally as beautiful.

“Best Part of Me” – Ed Sheeran feat. YEBBA

A classic Ed ballad, this one will jerk the tears right out of ya every time you listen to it! There’s also an acoustic version of this one, 10/10 would recommend.

“Antisocial” – Ed Sheeran & Travis Scott

Please, someone let me know how he can pull off sappy love songs and rap songs??? It just blows me away. This man is too cool for all of us, please everyone protect him at all costs.

So, in conclusion, I’ve had this album on repeat pretty much since the second it came out. The songs I listed are a few of my personal faves, but if you haven’t listened to it yet, I highly recommend that you do because there is truly something for everyone! No. 6 Collaborations Project is what I needed to carry me through until Ed drops his next, inevitably genius, work.
