Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and that means another important holiday of love is also right around the corner, Galentine’s Day. This is a time to celebrate your BFFs and treat them to some cute gifts. If you don’t have enough in your budget to go out and buy gifts, here are five easy DIY gift ideas.

1. EOS balm buddy

This is a cute simple idea for any one of your friends. All you need is EOS egg chapstick, googly eyes, heart sequins, and paper bows. Glue the eyes onto the egg. Then glue the heart sequin under the eyes to make a nose. Then you can put the bow either on its head or on the bottom half of the egg to make a bowtie. Make a cute tag and you’re all set!

2. Marbled Mug

This is perfect for your friends that love collecting mugs for their morning coffee. You just need a white mug, nail polish, a plastic container, and water. Fill the container up with water and then put a few drops of nail polish in the water. Swirl the nail polish around using a toothpick to make the marble effect. Dip the mug in the water and nail polish mixture until you’ve covered the area you want to cover. Let the mug dry and then paint on a thin layer of dishwasher safe modge podge to protect the mug during washing.

3. Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks

These are the perfect treat for those friends who love to eat. For this you will need pretzel sticks, colored chocolate chips, and sprinkles. Melt down the chocolate chips. Then dip the pretzel sticks in the chocolate, using a butter knife to spread the chocolate evenly. Twist the rod over the bowl to let excess chocolate drip off. Then place it on some wax paper and sprinkle the sprinkles on it. Let them dry and then package them up in a cute wrapping. A perfect Galentine’s Day treat!

4. Heart Clasp Bracelet

This cute bracelet is a little bit harder to make. You will need 18-gauge silver plated copper wire, jewelry pliers, and wire cutters. Cut a piece of wire about 20 inches long and then bend it in half. Cinch it together using the pliers and then bend the tip over so that it makes a hook. Take one end of the wire and bend it into a heart to make the heart clasp. Then take the other end and wrap it around the base of the heart to hold the stems together. Trim off the excess wire and bend it into a circular shape and you’re done!

5. Cute Valentine’s Day Socks

Ok this one isn’t a DIY, but it is super cheap. Just go buy some cute Valentine’s Day socks for your friends and wrap them up with a cute note!

These cute ideas are sure to impress your BFFs and show them how much you care!
