Election season is looming, and with the push this cycle for higher voter turnout, you can only hope that everyone around you is already registered. If you know of a couple people who have been putting it off, (or if you’re the one who’s procrastinating!) here’s a list of four websites that want you to vote as much as you want to be heard.

1. Vote.gov

Not sure if you’re registered? Wondering how to register? Want to check your voter status? Vote.gov is your first stop in the process, and the fact that it’s a surprisingly simple and well-designed government website makes everything a lot more painless. Just pick your state and follow the links, and it’ll do the rest.

2. Vote411.org

I like using Vote 411 for ballot information because the interface is a little more straightforward than government websites. In addition to this, they ask the candidates questions that are probably on your mind to begin with, as opposed to copying and pasting from candidate websites.

3. Vote.org

My favorite part of Vote.org is that it has a link to election reminders, so even if your memory is so bad you can’t remember what you had for breakfast this morning, you won’t forget to cast your ballot. It also has a list of all the different registration deadlines, so be sure to check that out and make sure it’s done in time!

4. Voter Hero

This website is my favorite of the bunch because at the end of the day, it’s fun. Whether you’re registered already or not, you get to design your own Voter Hero, and then share it to encourage others to do the same. It’s entertaining, it’s a great distraction, and it’s got all the links you need to make sure you’re ready to go on election day. Plus, look how cute they are:

Whatever website you use, make sure you’re registered, informed, and ready to vote this November. After all, it’s the best way to make your voice heard.
