The 58th Grammys aired last Monday, February 15. While it is always fun and exciting to watch, this year’s Grammys may be considered one of the best. If you missed it, no worries, here are top 10 best moments of the night.

#1: The Lionel Richie Tribute

The Grammys tribute to Lionel Richie was phenomenal! John Legend, Tyrese, Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, and Meghan Trainor each sang one of his songs. At the end, Lionel Richie came on stage and performed his hit song, “All Night Long.” Demi Lovato absolutely slayed her cover of “Hello;” Lionel Richie’s face during her performance says it all!

#2: Ed Sheeran winning his FIRST Grammy

Ed Sheeran won his first Grammy at the Grammys! Not only was it an amazing moment because he absolutely deserved it, it was so cute to see his best friend, Taylor Swift, get so excited (and cry) for him; even though she was one of the nominees in the category. True friendship right there!

#3: James Bay and Tori Kelly performing together

These two performed their latest hits, “Hollow” by Kelly and “Let it go” by Bay, together. It was a breathtaking performance. It was beautiful and raw with Tori Kelly’s vocals being on point.

#4: Kendrick Lamar’s moving performance

Kendrick Lamar gave a powerful performance at the Grammys. The message behind his super dramatic performance was about black inequality and about the mass incarceration of African Americans. His performance gave me chills and made me a fan.

#5: Hamilton the Musical’s performance

One of the best moments for me was seeing the cast of Hamilton the musical perform, because it was so nice to see Broadway getting recognition at the Grammys for once.

#6: Adele’s performance

Adele performed “All I Ask” at the Grammys. Apparently, there were some major technical difficulties during her performance, however, Adele still did a phenomenal job… after all, she’s Adele.

#7: Justin Bieber’s Big Night

Justin Bieber finally won his first Grammy at the 58th Grammys Awards! He won the Grammy for “Best Dance Recording” with Jack Ü for “Where are U now?” He also performed and did a stellar job singing his two hit songs, “Where are U now?” and “Love Yourself.”

#8: Meghan Trainor winning Best New Artist

Meghan Trainor winning the Best New Artist Grammy was hands down the most emotional part of the night. She was so shocked and happy that she could barely give her acceptance speech. The sweetest moment is when the cameras showed her dad, he was also bawling his eyes out. It was so beautiful to see him so proud of his daughter.

#9: Lady Gaga’s tribute to David Bowie

At the 58th Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga decided to pay tribute to one of her idols: David Bowie Gaga did such a beautiful job. In that moment, she became Bowie. You can tell this performance really meant a lot to her.

#10: Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Album of the Year

My favorite moment of the Grammys was, hands down, Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for 1989 winning Best Album of the Year. Recently, Kanye West has said some not-so nice things about Taylor Swift, and even claiming he was the reason she was famous. During her acceptance speech, she wanted to remind all the women out there to not let anyone else take credit for your accomplishments. It was such a powerful moment for Taylor and women.
