Did you dress up as a superhero as a kid? As grown-ups, many of us now live a lifestyle too focused on work, school, and…well, grown-up things. But we shouldn’t let that make us boring adults.
After I went swimming as a little girl, I would wrap my towel around myself to resemble a cape and run off pretending to fight crime. But today, we’re all superheroes in our own way. This fall is a new beginning for us, and we can show the world we’re still fun (and capable of whooping any evil exam or research paper)!
Comic book styles don’t have to be about wearing outrageous tights you’re self-conscious in or heels that turn the 5 minute walk around campus into an hour. Incorporating a few bright colors into your outfit can cheer you up a little during those stressful days, and bring smiles to those around you. Things such as this nail art are eye-catching, yet subtle enough.
Fall is a new beginning, get out there and have some fun! And remember: We’ll never be too old to stop being playful and imaginative!
