The Secret Celebrity Weddings We Love

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USFSP chapter.

Is it just me or have there been a few too many secret celebrity weddings lately? Natalie Portman must have started a trend when she married her longtime beau Benjamin Millepied, sometime back in early August.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds followed suit on September 9, and it was rumored that the beautiful couple didn’t even tell their guests they were attending a wedding until they arrived at the private location in South Carolina.

Blake’s dress, pictured on the right, was a Marchesa gown, and she is rumored to have worn Christian Louboutin heels.

If the location of Blake and Ryan’s wedding looks familiar, don’t be surprised! Their wedding took place at the historic Boone Hall, which was also a filming location for the Nicholas Sparks film, The Notebook.

The most recent secret celebrity wedding, and possibly the most shocking, came just days ago when Anne Hathaway married actor Adam Shulman while wearing a custom Valentino gown.

With all these wedding surprises, I wonder which celebrity couple will be next!
