It’s that time of the week again, Fangirl Friday! This week is dedicated to the fabulous Nicole Richie. Despite her party girl past, Nicole has matured into a delightfully quirky fully formed adult. As we all know, she rose to fame in 2003 after the series premiere of The Simple Life, starring Nicole and her former BFF Paris Hilton. After four successful seasons and one not so successful fifth season, The Simple Life went off the air.
Not to stay out of the spotlight for too long, Nicole released her autobiographical Novel “The truth about Diamonds” just two years later. And as if having a successful reality show and novel wasn’t enough, Nicole is now a hit in the fashion world. Her impeccable personal style has helped her fan base skyrocket. The recognition helped her launch her own jewelry, accessories, and sunglasses line in 2008 along with a perfume and style look book.
Since then, she’s branched out into clothing launching Winter Kate, a high end fashion line in the spring of 2010. She also partnered with the maternity store A pea in the pod, designing a maternity collection for them entitled Nicole. Now a mother herself, Nicole has returned to the world of reality TV on her new show Candidly Nicole. The show highlights her hilarious day-to-day antics. With season one coming to a close let’s hope that we won’t have to say goodbye to our beloved Nicole too soon (fingers crossed for a season two!!. ) Be sure to check out Candidly Nicole every Thursday night at 10pm on MTV.
